West District Schoolhouse Open for Tours July 31

Though the West District Schoolhouse has been closed for repairs most of this summer, locals will have a chance to visit and learn about the town's educational beginnings Sunday, July 31 from 1-2:30 p.m. The schoolhouse, which dates back to the 1700s and is on the State Register of Historic Places, was one of the town's first schoolhouses.
